ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an Associate Designer to work closely with the Design team and Creative Director to create and execute seasonal concepts and development of product lines. The ideal candidate is highly creative, energetic, and possesses a keen sense of style with a luxe fashion aesthetic.

• Design and develop seasonal styles and capsules that meet market needs and drive sales; ensure timely product execution of design development calendar.

• Create style sketches for development.

• Manage SMS, fabric library and manage all seasonal assets.

• Maintain seasonal collection boards and walls.

• Participate in design meetings and fit sessions with detailed notes and follow up.

• Assist with design tech packs as needed.

• Research and identify current selling information and market trends; perform competitive analysis.

• Understand the production process.

• Help facilitate the approval of lab-dips and other development materials.

• Directly assist the Creative Director with design development and special projects.

• Assist with day-to-day tasks and general design needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to work in a high-growth collaborative environment

• Passion for creating great product

• Strong sketching and graphic design skills

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Knowledge of apparel silhouettes, fit, fabrication, construction, and color

• Experience with sweaters a plus

• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, & Excel

• 1-2 years of industry design experience

• BA in Fashion Design preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
